The DFW Elite Golf League Closet is off to a strong start. What began as a simple idea to collect extra golf gear for those who need it has already turned into something meaningful. In just a short time, we’ve received donations from generous golfers who found our website and wanted to help. So far, the Closet includes several sets of clubs, a golf bag, more than 700 golf balls, and a growing selection of clothing, shoes, and even a range finder.
These donations have shown that the golf community has a big heart. People who may never have met us still recognize the value of what we’re building—a league where everyone, regardless of experience or resources, can feel comfortable joining in. The Closet makes that possible by giving golfers access to quality gear without the cost that sometimes keeps people from playing.
Now, we’re asking our members to get involved. If you have golf items you no longer use, consider donating them to the DFW Elite Golf League Closet. We’re accepting everything golf related: clubs, bags, clothing, shoes, gloves, hats, balls, and accessories of all kinds. Every contribution helps someone feel more prepared and confident when they step onto the course.
Donating is simple. Contact us through our website or email to arrange drop-off or pickup. Each donation receives a statement for your records, and every item goes directly toward supporting fellow golfers.
The Closet may still be small, but it’s growing. With continued support from our league members, we can turn it into something that truly represents what DFW Elite Golf League stands for—community, inclusion, and the love of the game.
