No Tricks, All Treats Golf Gear Giveaway

The Crowd Arrived Before We Did

The giveaway was advertised to begin at 10 a.m. When our volunteers arrived at 8:30 a.m. to begin setting up, at least 50 people were already waiting in line.

With so many people eager to participate, we opened the giveaway around 9:30 a.m. By 11:30 a.m., every donated item had been distributed. Nothing was left over.

The Impact by the Numbers

Every item was given away at no cost to attendees.

A Community That Showed Up

The response to our giveaway extended far beyond Tierra Verde Golf Club. DFW Elite Golf League promoted the event on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, and one of our posts received thousands of likes and more than 1,200 shares.

Golf organizations throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area helped spread the word, and Tierra Verde Golf Club also promoted the event.

Throughout the morning, attendees expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to receive golf equipment and apparel at no cost. Their enthusiasm reinforced why making golf more accessible is so important to our organization.

One Need We Couldn't Meet: Children's Golf Equipment

Although we distributed everything we had, one request came up repeatedly: golf equipment for children.

Families asked about junior golf clubs and other children's gear, but the only junior-sized item available was a single golf bag.

That experience revealed a need we want to address. As DFW Elite Golf League prepares for its planned summer 2027 youth golf camp, we are especially interested in donations of junior golf clubs, bags, shoes, apparel, and other age-appropriate equipment.

The next time a family asks whether we have golf equipment for their child, we want to be able to say yes.

Thank You to Our Supporters

Events like No Tricks, All Treats are possible because businesses, individuals, and organizations are willing to share their resources and support our mission.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Ebony Greens and Sassy Caddy for contributing to the giveaway.

A special thank-you goes to Tierra Verde Golf Club in Arlington for hosting the event, helping us promote it, and graciously accommodating our team throughout the process.

We also thank every individual who donated equipment, every volunteer who helped make the event happen, and the many golf organizations throughout Dallas-Fort Worth that shared our announcements.

Together, these contributions helped put golf equipment directly into the hands of people who could use it.
