Our Non-Profit Mission

Our Nonprofit Mission

DFW Elite Golf League is more than a golf league.
We are working to open the game to people who have not always had a clear path into it.

DFW Elite Golf League is recognized by the State of Texas as a nonprofit organization and has been approved by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Our purpose is simple. We want golf to feel welcoming and attainable for adults and youth who have been kept away by cost, limited access, or simply not knowing where to begin.

Our Mission

To expand access to the game of golf throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area by creating affordable opportunities to play, offering guidance and education, sharing equipment and resources, and building a community that reflects the people who live here.

What This Looks Like

• Affordable monthly league play for adults
• Beginner clinics and learning workshops
• Access to donated golf equipment through the DEGL Closet
• Scholarships to help cover lessons or league participation
• Opportunities that introduce more adults and youth to the game
• Partnerships with local courses and businesses that support access

Why We Became a Nonprofit

Golf has long carried a reputation for being exclusive. We believe the word “elite” should represent excellence and opportunity, not barriers.

Becoming a nonprofit allows us to accept donations, apply for grants, and work with community partners so financial limitations do not keep someone from stepping onto a course for the first time. Our goal is not only to help people learn golf, but to help them feel that they belong there.
