Our Non-Profit Mission

DFW Elite Golf League is more than just a golf league.
We have been approved by the State of Texas as a non-profit organization. We have also applied for approval with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are dedicated to making the game of golf more inclusive, accessible, and welcoming—especially for adults and youth who’ve been left out of the game due to cost, access, or lack of exposure.
Our Mission
To expand access to the game of golf in the Dallas–Fort Worth area by creating affordable league play, offering mentorship and education, sharing gear and resources, and building a strong, diverse golf community that reflects our city’s vibrant population.
What That Looks Like:
-
Low-cost monthly league play for adults
-
Free or discounted golf clinics and workshops for beginners
-
Shared access to golf equipment for those who need it
-
Opportunities to earn scholarships for golf lessons or league membership
-
A growing pipeline to expose more Black and Brown adults and youth to the sport
-
Partnerships with local businesses and golf courses to make all of this possible
Why We Chose to Become a Nonprofit
Golf has carried a reputation of exclusivity. At DFW Elite Golf League, we believe “elite” should mean excellence, not exclusion. As a nonprofit, we can accept donations, apply for grants, and partner with like-minded organizations to remove financial barriers and create more opportunities to play.
